Boston Police Blotter: Be on the lookout for armed robbers, MBTA flasher
The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help finding five people suspected of armed robbery of a scooter.
Police say that at least one of the five held a firearm when the suspects robbed a person of a scooter at around 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 18 near Marcella St. The scooter was found abandoned behind 2875 Washington St. and the suspects were seen walking in a field near there toward Academy Homes Development.
The BPD issued a photo of the suspects and ask anyone who recognizes them or knows anything about the incident to call detectives at 617-343-4275. Shooting suspect arrest
Police arrested a second suspect wanted in connection with an Oct. 8 shooting in Roxbury that left a victim with life-altering injuries.
Shawn Walker, 24, of Boston, faces a slew of firearms charges as well as a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, causing bodily injury. His firearms violations are exacerbated by his status as a felon with three prior violent or drug crimes.
Devante Stinson, 23, of Boston, was also arrested last week in connection with the shooting.
MBTA flasher
MBTA Transit Police are looking for a man accused of indecent exposure.
Police say that a man on Oct. 24 at around 1 p.m. exposed himself and urinated on the platform at Central Square Station in front of children. They ask that anyone who recognizes him to contact them at 617-222-1050.

Alleged thief arrested
A man accused of stealing more than $55,000 in merchandise is now in BPD custody.
Officers arrested Tyronne Burris, 49, of Mattapan, at around 10 a.m. Thursday along the 800 block of Massachusetts Avenue. He was wanted on five warrants issued out of Boston Municipal Court for five counts of larceny over $1,200; receiving stolen property; and two counts of common and notorious thief.
Incident summary
Since the last blotter ran in the Herald, the BPD reports that its officers responded to 474 incidents, according to two days worth of 24-hour reports ending Friday at 10 a.m.. Those include 16 aggravated assaults, two commercial burglaries, two residential burglaries, 12 thefts from cars, six stolen cars and 26 instances of miscellaneous larceny.
