Keys for the Vikings
— As much as the Vikings have talked about their offense being more disciplined before the snap, this game is going to come down to their defense and its ability to stop the run. It’s been a struggle for the Vikings, who so far have allowed an average of 132.2 rushing yards per game. There needs to be immediate improvement this weekend. The best way for the Vikings to have success is to force the Eagles to throw more than they run. It’s as simple as that.
Keys for the Eagles
— On the flip side, the Eagles must find a way to establish star running back Saquon Barkley, whose production for the defending Super Bowl champs has significantly decreased this season. He’s still a big play waiting to happen, however, so the Eagles must continue to lean into him. The other way the Eagles can gain the upper hand on the Vikings is by getting after veteran quarterback Carson Wentz. If the Eagles can create pressure up front, they should be able to create some turnovers that could prove to be the difference.
