White left last weekend’s win at Buffalo with a right elbow injury and wore a sleeve on his elbow at practice. Hawkins has been dealing with a hurt hamstring. Both players were present for the start of practice.

Hawkins has started all five games this season and played more than 90% of the team’s defensive snaps, fourth-most on the team. White, who has been less impactful with five tackles in four game appearances, replaced the injured K’Lavon Chaisson in the starting lineup last Sunday. Chaisson (knee) returned to practice Wednesday after sitting out last Friday and not traveling to Buffalo.

The Patriots will release their first injury report of the week Wednesday evening.
