Morgan Wallen concert faces fine for breaking the Foxboro curfew at Gillette Stadium

Is Morgan Wallen “The Problem”?

As the country superstar debuted at Gillette Stadium over the weekend with his “I’m The Problem Tour,” he broke the town of Foxboro’s concert curfew by playing close to midnight.

The town has confirmed that he violated the curfew, and the concert is being fined.

“The Morgan Wallen concert on Friday night is being fined for exceeding the curfew, and his team is aware of this,” a town of Foxboro spokesperson said in a statement on Monday.

“The curfew was set for 11:30 p.m., but the last song began at 11:44 p.m. — 14 minutes past the cutoff,” the spokesperson added. “The fine is assessed at $0.25 per attendee, which totaled $15,705.”

Back in 2016, Bruce Springsteen broke the town of Foxboro’s curfew when he played an exceptionally long show until 11:54 p.m. That led to a $22,429 fine.

One of the highlights from Wallen’s concert on Friday was New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel walking out with the country star. Wallen usually enters his shows with a well-known local celeb.

Wallen posted the entrance on social media with the caption, “Put me in coach.”

“I don’t know if I was that nervous,” Vrabel told reporters on Monday about walking out with Wallen. “Wasn’t like I had to sing or anything. I just had to not trip or tackle him.”

Then on Saturday night, Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski was the walk-out guest with Wallen. The retired tight end wore a “617 Boston Strong” Pats jersey, and he had his Super Bowl rings on.

Then Wallen tossed a Pats guitar to Gronk before he Gronk-spiked it — a TD celebration that was seen time and time again at Gillette in the 2010s.

“GRONK’S BACKKKKKKKK,” Gillette Stadium posted.

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year was joined in Foxboro by Miranda Lambert, Corey Kent and Zach John King as part of his “I’m The Problem Tour.”
