Singapore July 2025: BYD leads, Chery breaks into Top 10, sales up 18.1%
Chery ranks #8 brand in Singapore in July.
The Singaporean new car market advances 18.1% year-on-year in July to 4,626 registrations, meaning the year-to-date volume is now up 27.1% to 28,583. BYD (+69.9%) easily holds onto the brands top spot with 19% of the market, distancing Toyota (+11.5%) at 15.7% and BMW (+10.5%) at 10%. Mercedes (-1.1%) and Honda (-7.6%) both underperform and close out the Top 5. Tesla (+49.4%) and Hyundai (-42.5%) ensure the Top 7 is identical to the YTD order. Chery (+823.1%) storms into the Top 10 for the very first time, landing directly at #8 with a previous best of #17 reached last January. MG (+276.7%) is also in great shape at #9, its first Top 10 finish since May 2022 (#7).
