Red Sox lineups: Alex Bregman gets day off in finale against Marlins

Alex Bregman is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Miami Marlins, but Red Sox manager Alex Cora said the All-Star third baseman is just getting a routine day off.

With Bregman coming off the bench, Abraham Toro will get the start at third base, and Trevor Story will bump up in the lineup to take over Bregman’s usual No. 2 spot.

The rest of Boston’s lineup is largely the same as normal, with Roman Anthony leading off, Jarren Duran batting third and Masataka Yoshida batting cleanup.

Garrett Crochet (13-5, 2.48) is set to take the mound against Miami’s Janson Junk (6-2, 4.06). The Red Sox ace is coming off a rare bad outing in which he allowed five earned runs in four innings against the Houston Astros.
