The Mercedes-Benz Vision V is a Rolling Private Lounge of the Future Debuting at Pebble Beach

Mercedes-Benz is bringing its futuristic Vision V to California for a special appearance at Pebble Beach Automotive Week 2025, offering a glimpse into the next generation of ultra-luxury mobility. Following its debut in Shanghai and stops in Dubai and Los Angeles, the Vision V will be showcased at the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge from August 14 to 17, where automotive excellence and cutting-edge design take center stage.

The Vision V is a highly elegant, chauffeur-driven limousine designed around the concept of the “Private Lounge,” blending expansive space with a heightened sense of exclusivity. It pairs handcrafted materials like burr wood and Nappa leather with sleek, high-tech design elements to create an environment that is both opulent and forward-thinking. Serving as a preview of the future Mercedes-Benz VLS Grand Limousine, the Vision V offers a fully immersive and personalized entertainment experience unlike anything seen before in the brand’s lineup.

Inside the “Private Lounge,” a retractable 65-inch cinema screen rises gracefully from beneath the floor, dividing the passenger area from the cockpit. The display’s 4K resolution and Dolby Vision technology deliver vivid colors, deep contrast, and stunning clarity, turning the cabin into a movie theater, gaming hub, concert hall, or relaxation space. Passengers are surrounded by a 360-degree digital environment created by seven projectors in the headliner and floor, while the side windows transform into additional screens for a fully enveloping visual experience. The audio is equally impressive, with 42 speakers integrated throughout the cabin, some built into the seats to create a sound experience that can be felt as much as it is heard. Ambient lighting syncs with music, adapting its colors to the rhythm for an even more captivating atmosphere.

A new karaoke feature is one of seven interactive “worlds” offered by the Vision V. Originally launched in China with a localized track, it now includes an English-language option for its U.S. stops. Combined with the Dolby Vision cinematic setup, it offers passengers a fun and visually striking entertainment experience that can be enjoyed on the move.

Looking ahead, Mercedes-Benz plans to bring the Vision V’s influence into production with a pair of new Grand Limousine models. The Mercedes-Benz VLE, set to arrive in 2026, will feature up to eight seats and cater to everything from active family use to high-end VIP shuttles. The flagship VLS will occupy a new space in the top-end luxury segment, delivering the grandeur and innovation previewed by the Vision V. Both will be built on a newly developed modular van architecture that clearly separates privately positioned Grand Limousines from commercial transporters.

At Pebble Beach, the Vision V is not just another concept car. It is a statement about where luxury travel is heading, with immersive entertainment, personalized comfort, and an unmistakable sense of occasion shaping the future of the Mercedes-Benz experience.
