The Jaecoo 7 is an instant blockbuster in Scotland.

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in June. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are already included in the July 2025 UK update. This month all nations are in negative, with England faring best at -3.2% to 120,976. Wales (-13.7% to 4,586), Northern Ireland (-15.2% to 3,197) and Scotland (-15.6% to 11,056) are all hit hard. Year-to-date, here too England (+3.5% to 1,015,008) is the best performer and the only nation in positive, while Scotland (-1.1% to 98,850) resists but Wales (-5.8% to 38,055) and Northern Ireland (-8.8% to 28,367) disappoint.

The big event of the month is the arrival of the new Jaecoo 7 directly in 2nd place in Scotland, its highest ranking anywhere in the world. 

Podium finishers are as follows: the Ford Puma is #1 in England and Wales and #3 in Northern Ireland, the Peugeot 2008 is #1 in Northern Ireland, #3 in Wales and #7 in England, the Kia Sportage is #1 in Scotland and #2 in England, Northern Ireland and Wales, the Jaecoo 7 is #2 in Scotland, the Nissan Juke #3 in England and #5 in Wales and the Mini Cooper #3 in Scotland and #5 in England. Other great performers include the VW Tiguan up to #4 in England, #6 in Scotland, and the VW Golf #5 in Northern Ireland.
