1k+ Allston-area Eversource customers experiencing outage
There is a power outage centered on the Lower Allston neighborhood of Boston.
Electricity utility company Eversource’s power outage map shows that power was disrupted in Lower Allston, the neighborhood of Boston north of the turnpike, beginning at 11:37 a.m. today. The company cites “equipment damage” as the cause of the outage.
The company estimates that it will have power restored for the 1,279 customers affected by 1:30 p.m.
An Eversource representative did not immediately respond to the Herald’s request for further comment.
