Wild sign Russian prospect Danila Yurov to entry-level contract
Some reinforcements are on the way for the Wild.
After existing in the abstract for much of the past couple of seasons, Russian prospect Danila Yuorv has officially signed his entry-level contract with the Wild.
The ceiling for Yurov is limitless as he’s blessed with a unique skill set that should translate rather seamlessly to the next level. He will presumably be given every opportunity to start next season with the Wild, though it’s unclear where exactly he will slot into the lineup.
Originally selected with the No. 22 pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, Yurov most recently played for the Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the KHL. He recorded 12 goals and 12 assists across 46 games last season.
