School bus in Boston hits pedestrian: ‘Serious life-threatening injuries’
A school bus struck a pedestrian in Hyde Park Monday afternoon, according to Boston Police who reported that the victim suffered “serious life-threatening injuries.”
Boston police officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a school bus at 107 Washington St., at around 2:44 p.m. on Monday.
“Officers are on scene now with Boston Fire and EMS and homicide detectives are responding to investigate,” a Boston Police spokesperson said in a statement.
“The vehicle involved and its operator have remained on-scene, and the victim has been transported to a local hospital with serious life-threatening injuries,” the BPD spokesperson added.
