NYC trans migrant accused of raping teen was wanted in Massachusetts: source
A transgender illegal immigrant busted in New York City for allegedly raping a 14-year-old boy in a bodega was once wanted by Massachusetts ICE agents, the Herald has learned.
The suspect, Nicol Suarez, was in the Bay State “at one time,” but it was not clear late Saturday night if the transgender migrant was arrested or not, a source told the Herald.
The New York Post reports that Suarez allegedly stalked and raped a boy in a Manhattan bodega bathroom this week. The Herald will stay on this story.
The Post adds that Suarez, 30, originally from Colombia, was arrested near the crime scene the following day and was charged with first-degree rape. The Post added Suarez was wanted in New Jersey and Massachusetts.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement — ramping up the agency’s “Worst First” deportation push — is listing illegal immigrant criminals wanted for heinous crimes from murder to rape; fentanyl trafficking and gang ties. But ICE has yet to post anything about Suarez.
They have recently posted arrests of suspects, including one “convicted of secretly recording others in the bathroom.” That 28-year-old was arrested in Houston and had crossed into the U.S. illegally from Mexico.
