Animal Humane Society, Golden Valley, announced it has named Joy King as CEO. King previously served as chief advancement officer of NMDP, formerly Be The Match, a national bone marrow donation registry, and executive director of the NMDP Foundation.

Securian Financial, St. Paul, announced that Warren Zaccaro, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will retire on July 1; Pete Berlute, previously senior vice president of Affinity Solutions, was named senior vice president of Finance, effective Jan. 1, and will succeed Zaccaro as CFO on June 1. Dave Seidel has been promoted to senior vice president of Affinity Solutions, succeeding Berlute. … Deluxe, a Minneapolis-based business services and technology company, announced the appointment of Brian Mahony as president of its Merchant Services business, effective Feb. 3; Mahony most recently served as chief revenue officer at Elavon, a subsidiary of U.S. Bank. … U.S. Bank, Minneapolis, announced it has named Tarek El-Yafi as head of U.S. Bank Global Transaction Services; El-Yafi joins U.S. Bank after more than 25 years at Standard Chartered Bank and Citi.

GOVERNMENT

Matt Staehling has been named Duluth city administrator, succeeding David Montgomery, who is retiring. Staehling previously was city administrator in St. Cloud.

HEALTH CARE

HealthPartners, a Bloomington-based health insurer and health care provider, announced it has named Mark Hansberry executive vice president and chief  strategy and growth officer. Hansberry joined HealthPartners in 2017 as chief marketing officer.

Barletta Pontoon Boats, a subsidiary of Winnebago Industries, Eden Prairie, announced it has been recognized with a 2025 Discover Boating Minneapolis Boat Show Innovation Award by the National Marine Manufacturers Association and Boating Writers International.

Xcel Energy, Minneapolis, announced that Devin Stockfish has been elected to its board of directors, effective Jan. 23; Stockfish is president and CEO of Weyerhaeuser Co.Allete, a Duluth-based multi-state energy utility, announced that Chief Financial Officer Steven W. Morris will retire in July.
