The 2025 Minnesota girls state hockey tournament brackets

The reigning champs are back in the girls state hockey tournament field this week, with Warroad and Edina set to defend their titles. The Hornets are the No. 1 seed in Class 2A. Warroad, who’s aiming for a fourth-straight crown, is seeded third in Class A.

Last year’s Class A runner up, Dodge County, is this year’s top seed.

Hill-Murray finished second in Class 2A in 2024. The Pioneers are seeded third in this year’s field, and will be thoroughly challenged in the quarters. The Pioneers have a date with perennial power Andover. Those two teams split a pair of regular season matchups.

There is no East Metro team in the Class A field this week.

The winner’s bracket for each tournament will be played at the Xcel Energy Center. The semifinals and finals for each class will be televised on KSTC Channel 45. Quarterfinals can be viewed online on the Neighborhood Sports Network.

The complete brackets for each class are listed below and can be found on the MSHSL site.

Brackets will be updated daily with results throughout the tournament.
