Creighton University

The following Eden Prairie students received degrees from Creighton University during spring commencement May 12: Anna Blackford earned a bachelor of arts degree cum laude, Nicole Lindseth earned a doctor of physical therapy degree with honors, Cally Meyer earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree.

University of Portland

Kathryn Michurski of Eden Prairie, a freshman majoring in nursing, was named to the 2012 spring semester dean’s list at the University of Portland.

Michigan Tech

The following students from Eden Prairie have been named to the Michigan Technological University dean’s list for the 2012 spring semester: Elyssa Furmanski, general engineering; Kimberly Hammer, chemical engineering; Lauren Stone, sports and fitness management.

The following Eden Prairie students graduated on April 28 during spring commencement: Lauren Stone with a bachelor of science in sports and fitness management and Matthew Helgen with a bachelor of science in computer science.

UW-Milwaukee

The following Eden Prairie students received degrees during University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee commencement exercises Sunday, May 20: Leslie Backes, MLIS – master of library and information science, School of Information Studies; Barbara St. Marie, PHD – doctor of philosophy, College of Nursing.

Northwestern College

Anna C. Rask, daughter of Don and Sharon Rask of Eden Prairie, graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biblical and theological studies from Northwestern College, St. Paul, Minn. Rask was named to the dean’s list each semester while at Northwestern and was also inducted into the Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honor society for religious and theological studies. She will pursue graduate studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield Illinois next fall.

Quinnipiac University

Elizabeth M. Anderson of Eden Prairie received a master of science in organizational leadership from Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn., during a commencement ceremony May 13.

Duke University

Jennifer Wagner (Eden Prairie High School class of 2008) graduated magna cum laude from the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. She was also elected to the National Engineering Society Tau Beta Pi.

University of Minnesota

Gregory Gibas has made the dean’s list at the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering for spring semester 2012.
