Weekly conservation officer reports

Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer (CO) Angela Graham (Hutchinson) checked ATVs, anglers, and traps. Officer Graham also participated in a work detail on the Rainy River checking boating safety and anglers. CO Jeff Denz (Willmar) worked ATV complaint areas and checked streams for fish run activity. He taught the law portion of a youth ATV class in Willmar. He also worked on commercial licensing issues.

CO Brett Oberg (Hutchinson) gave a presentation at Gopher Campfires firearm safety class. Officer Oberg also spent time patrolling for ATV activity and checking shore anglers. Time was also spent monitoring beaver trapping activity.

CO Greg Abraham (New Ulm) worded the Red River flood duty in the Moorhead area with the airboat. Upon return worked anglers, numerous ATV complaints, and investigated report of injured/sick bald eagle.

CO Wayne Hatlestad (Litchfield) assisted the flood relief effort in the Red River Valley of Fargo and Moorhead.
