Hutchinson High School October students of the month

Jillian Heilman – Grade 10 – Ms. Card

It has been a privilege to have Jillian in Female Strength Training! She has come to class each day and has developed a great work ethic, a positive attitude and leadership skills. I have enjoyed her willingness to try new things each day and the determination to get stronger and lead by example. Each day she brings a positive attitude regardless of the workout or training method. She also does it with a smile on her face! Thank you for efforts in Female Strength Training! She is the daughter of Allison and Dustin Heilman.

Isabella Conn – Grade 9 – Mr. Thode

Bella comes to class with a great work ethic and excitement for physical activity. She strives for improvement each day with a positive attitude and willingness to help others. Bella asks questions when necessary on how to improve skills. Bella has an inner drive to be the best student and athlete that she can be. Thanks Bella for the great start to the 2018-19 school year. She is the daughter of Jennifer Hays and Aaron Conn.

Maggie Eckhart – Grade 10 – Mr. Thode

Maggie comes to class with an open mind and ready to learn. She strives for excellence each day no matter the task and no matter the unit of study. Maggie is a super role model for others through her willingness to help and accept others always. Maggie participates in class discussion with a rare understanding of herself and the world around her. She is a pleasure to have in class. Thanks Maggie for all you do to make the class a great learning environment. She is the daughter of Ronda and Bruce Eckhart.

Shawnee Vaughn – Grade 12 – Mr. Fairbanks

Shawnee comes to class with a positive attitude and willingness to do whatever is asked of her. She always has a smile on her face and is ready for the activity of the day. Shawnee has the ability to make the people around her better. She is encouraging to her class partners and displays great sportsmanship to her opponents. She is the daughter of Sandra Vaughn.

Arianna Hagberg – Grade 12 – Mr. Schumer

It has been a privilege to have Ari Hagberg in German! She works hard in class, speaks up when she has a question and her witty personality never fails to put others at ease and make them laugh. Ari is willing to take risks as a language learner, and she always approaches learning with a positive attitude. She is the daughter of Gretchen and Jerry Hagberg. Arianna is the Elks Student of the Month.

Esteban Maney – Grade 10 – Ms. Picha

Esteban has been a pleasure to have in class. Esteban is an active listener and seeks clarification when necessary. He is enthusiastic about learning Spanish and is always trying to answer as completely as he can in the Spanish language. Esteban is always a willing participant and volunteer and it has showed in his achievement thus far in class. Keep up the great work! He is the son of Marisol and Ronald Maney.

Alexia French – Grade 9 – Ms. Picha

Lexi French is a hardworking, dedicated Spanish student. Lexi started out the trimester with a lot of nerves and I have seen her self-confidence grow over the last five weeks. Lexi works on focusing in class to understand the message in Spanish and also clarifies her confusion. I am so proud of how far Lexi has come these first 5 weeks. Keep up the great work! She is the daughter of Angela and Aaron French.

Kaylee Hansch – Grade 10 – Mr. Patrick

Kaylee is a student who actively participates in class and does the things she needs to do to acquire Spanish language skills. She is also willing to help other students who are struggling to better understand Spanish. Kaylee always has a positive attitude, which brings up the students who are around her. She is the daughter of Jody Scholla and Travis Hansch.
