BOYS BASKETBALL: Mankato West comes out ahead of Hutch
The Hutchinson boys basketball team went on the road Tuesday for their first away game of the season. Section opponent Mankato West came out on top against the Tigers, 79-59.
The Tigers led 15-13, but that gave way to a Scarlets a 41-28 halftime lead.
Russell Corrigan led the Tigers with 18 points, and senior Jake Malone had eight assists.
The Tigers (0-2) come back home and host Norwood Young America (0-2) at 7 p.m. Thursday.
