Mongolian team wins 2025 World Snow Sculpting Championship in Stillwater
A team from Mongolia was named the winner of the 2025 World Snow Sculpting Championship in downtown Stillwater on Saturday evening.
Known as Team Falcon, their sculpture titled “Voice” took the top prize at the event’s closing ceremony at Lowell Park.
In second place was “Trapped,” a sculpture by Team JetSet of Mexico.
Team Taiwan’s creation, “Whispers in the Breeze,” received the third-place prize and was also named People’s Choice and Artist Choice.
This is the fourth year that Stillwater has hosted the snow sculpting event, which this year is part of the city’s World Snow Celebration, running through Jan. 26. For more information, go to worldsnowcelebration.com.
