Senate control
Switching the US Senate back to Republican control is the second best news I heard following the posting of the 2024 election results. The first best news was of course the return of President Donald Trump to the White House as our 47th U.S. president.
The Democrats tried everything they could, even pulling off a bloodless coup on President Joe Biden forcing him to depart from the race in favor of the Democrats’ installed presidential candidate Kamala Harris. It didn’t work and now the American people are waking up to a brighter future for all of us. The fact that the US Senate will be going Republican come January is like the whipped cream atop the ice cream sundae. Hopefully, the GOP will keep control of the US House when all the races are decided.
The last time I felt this elated over an election was back in 1980 when Ronald Reagan beat Jimmy Carter and proclaimed it was “Morning in America.” Well, its 2024 and Trump’s victory says it is “Morning in America” once again.

Lesson for Dems
Democrats slice and dice the electorate into affinity groups primarily by sex, skin color and ethnicity and then berate the groups who wander off the reservation, as if our society does not evolve. Democrats pursue the path of least resistance, habituated to venomous denigration of all who deign to think differently. Few of them will analyze the trouncing Trump gave Harris. Harris herself, in her belated concession, was blind to any thought of why she lost so thoroughly, pledging to continue the campaign themes that had just eluded her. As the electorate evolves, progressive Democrats remain mired in the same old same old, convinced that we the people are too stupid to know what is good for us. That way lies many conservative victories. Thank you, Donald.

Electorate speaks
Once again the lefties in the media are losing it. They still think it’s the electorate that is the problem, not them. That’s why they lost and will continue to lose. People are sick and tired of being sick and tired. They don’t want to be told by people with no common sense how to live their lives and do what they are told. No. That isn’t going to work anymore.
People want less government interference, not more. The pundits on MSNBC still think that changing the beliefs of regular people is the answer. No. Democrats need to change their message. Come back to the center where the majority of voters are. Don’t read more into it than is necessary. You change or continue to lose. Period.

NH ads
The best part of the 2024 election season being over is we here in Massachusetts are freed from the TV airwaves being polluted with New Hampshire political ads. Such ads should be made illegal to be broadcast outside of New Hampshire. These annoying ads have NOTHING to do with anything going on in Massachusetts. I demand that in the future all the Boston TV stations not carry them.
