Five people shot at Burnsville park on Friday night police say
Five people were shot at Red Oak Park in Burnsville Friday night, according to authorities.
Few details were available Saturday morning.
The Burnsville Police Department provided the following details on its X account:
About 8:15 p.m. police received reports of multiple shots fired at Red Oak Park. When officers arrived they found “multiple” gunshot victims. Three were transported to a local hospital. A fourth victim showed up at a hospital and a fifth victim was treated at the scene.
Authorities said they are still investigating and determining the extent of injuries the victims suffered.
