Red Sox lineup: Jarren Duran back from suspension for Rangers finale
After being suspended two games without pay for directing a homophobic slur at a heckling fan during Sunday’s Red Sox game, Jarren Duran is back in the Red Sox lineup for the series finale with the Texas Rangers.
Duran had started all 116 of the team’s games before the suspension.
Tanner Houck takes the mound for Boston. The right-hander is coming off a strong showing against the Houston Astros over the weekend; despite only striking out one batter and issuing three walks, he held one of the league’s most potent lineups to one earned run on four hits over six innings.
