Saints lose second in a row, third of series to Columbus in offensive duel
A tight series at CHS Field with the Columbus Clippers slipped away Saturday with the St. Paul Saints taking an 11-8 loss, their second in a row and the third of the first five games of the series.
Saints starter Caleb Boushley (9-5) gave up six runs on nine hits in four innings. Inb his second appearance with St. Paul signing last week, reliever Giovanny Gallegos allowed two runs in an inning.
Diego A. Castillo, DaShawn Keirsey Jr. and Patrick Winkel each had two hits for the Saints, who fell behind 6-0 and 11-3 before rallying.
Edouard Julien had a double to extend his on-base streak to 35 games.
