Twins, White Sox postponed; doubleheader set for Wednesday
CHICAGO — The Twins and White Sox were washed out on Tuesday due to rain in the Chicago area throughout the evening.
The game will be made up on Wednesday as part of a straight doubleheader, which will begin at 1:10 p.m. The second game will then start somewhere around 30-45 minutes following the conclusion of the first.
Bailey Ober, who was supposed to start on Tuesday, will now pitch the first game and Pablo López will start the second. The Twins will also be able to add an additional player to the roster for the doubleheader.
The Twins did not have any weather-related postponements last season, but this is their fourth game this season that has been postponed due to rain.
