Mazda’s sleek Mazda3 hatchback is already one of our favorites and today we’re happy that the new 2025 model year will cost a little less and come with more. The 2025 Mazda3 hatchback arrives with a familiar design but with a noteworthy price decrease. The entry-level 2.5 S trim has been reintroduced, making the base model start at $26,135. This is a $720 reduction compared to the previous year’s entry-level model, which was priced at $26,855.

New Features and Technology

Mazda has added several new features for the 2025 model year. Among the most notable is the inclusion of Alexa Built-in, available on the Select Sport trim and higher. This feature allows drivers to use voice commands to control various car settings, such as climate temperature and radio stations. Another significant tech upgrade is Mazda Online Navigation, which is standard on the Premium trim and above. This new navigation system offers improved route guidance through over-the-air updates.

Manual Transmission Availability

For enthusiasts who prefer a stick shift, the six-speed manual transmission continues to be available in the 2025 lineup. It is paired with the S Premium trim, priced at $31,835, and comes with the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. However, the manual transmission is not offered for the Turbo model, which starts at $33,285 in the sedan Carbon Edition.

The most expensive version of the 2025 Mazda3 hatchback is the Turbo Premium Plus, priced at $38,135. This top-tier model includes a comprehensive suite of features and enhancements, providing a premium driving experience.

The 2025 Mazda3 hatchback is expected to arrive at dealerships this summer, with the sedan version following in early fall.
