Saudi Arabia Q1 2024: Toyota Yaris Sedan most popular
The Toyota Yaris Sedan ranks #1 in Saudi Arabia so far in 2024.
194,281 new vehicles found a home in Saudi Arabia over Q1 2024. Toyota easily leads the way in the brands charts with 26.6% share, distancing Hyundai at 14.1%. Nissan (7.4%) and Kia (7.3%) are a notch below while Isuzu impresses at #5. Ford is up to #6, Suzuki leaps up to #7, MG ranks #8 but Changan drops to #9. Geely rounds out the Top 10. Mercedes ranks at a lowly 19th spot while newcomer TANK is at #27.
Over in the models ranking, the Toyota Yaris Sedan is on top with a solid 5.3% share, boosted by the new generation. Its main rival the Hyundai Accent ends the period in 2nd place with 4.3% of the market. The Toyota Hilux rounds out the podium with 3.8% share. Used to the leadership in Saudi, the Toyota Camry has to settle for 4th position so far in 2024. Outstanding result for the Kia Pegas at #5 ahead of the Suzuki Swift Dire, Nissan Sunny and Isuzu D-Max.
