A Salem woman apparently went on a rampage early Monday morning, according to police who say she drove into Gate C at Fenway Park, crashed into the Coast Guard base, and hit vehicles in the Ted Williams Tunnel, ran over a man’s foot, and more.

Colleen Gibbs, 48, will likely face numerous charges after the mayhem on the local roads, police said.

Those charges include assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (motor vehicle), destruction of property, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and more.

The chaos reportedly started in Revere just after 7 a.m., when a Massachusetts State Police trooper was flagged down by a motorist in the area of Ocean Avenue and Revere Street.

The motorist reported that a Honda Accord was being operated “erratically and aggressively” in the area, State Police said. The trooper then saw the suspect vehicle passing his location on Ocean Avenue.

“The female operator honked the car’s horn and yelled something before speeding off,” State Police said in a statement.

The trooper activated his cruiser’s lights and siren, and tried to stop the Honda. Gibbs refused to stop, police said.

Police decided to not chase the vehicle because of the area’s density.

Then at about 7:30 a.m., troopers responded to reports of a hit-and-run crash at the entrance to the Ted Williams Tunnel in East Boston. The same driver who fled from the trooper in Revere had struck two vehicles at the entrance to the tunnel, police said.

Then, Gibbs was allegedly involved in a crash at the U.S. Coast Guard base in Boston before driving into Gate C at Fenway Park.

Police at around 7:38 p.m. responded to the Coast Guard base at 427 Commercial St., for a motor vehicle incident. Officers noticed damage to the base’s rear gate.

“The gate was locked at the time and the vehicle had caused obvious damage while exiting,” the police report reads.

About 20 minutes later, police were responding to reports of Gibbs driving into vehicles on Boylston Street.

Then at about 8:34 a.m., officers responded to the incident at Fenway Park. Gibbs allegedly hit a victim who was working a construction detail on Brookline Avenue near Fenway, running over his foot. The driver side mirror also struck the victim in the arm.

Gibbs then reportedly drove into the open Gate C at Fenway, which was filled with employees working to take down a stage from a weekend event.

“The suspect continued to drive down the ramp towards the gate, actively knocking over items and hitting the wall inside the Gate,” the police report reads.

Then a fork lift operator blocked the entrance to the field and stopped the vehicle on the loading dock.

A responding officer demanded that Gibbs get out of the vehicle, and was able to detain her. She was placed into an ambulance and transported to a hospital.

Gibbs reportedly told police that her medication was not working.

“The suspect also stated her vehicle was a special effects car and that we are all going to be in a movie,” the police report reads.

Gibbs will be summonsed to Boston Municipal Court for a litany of charges.

State Police will also seek charges for the motor vehicle offenses in Revere and East Boston.
