2 people reportedly found dead at Moxy Boston Hotel, police respond for death investigation

Two people were reportedly found dead at the Moxy Boston Hotel on Monday, according to police who were alerted to the dead bodies after a hotel worker found them on the 13th floor.

Boston Police officers responded to the Marriott hotel, located at the intersection of Tremont and Stuart streets near Boston Common, at around 12:22 p.m. for a death investigation.

Officers found two dead bodies, police said.

“The investigation is very early at this time and ongoing,” Suffolk County DA Kevin Hayden told reporters at the scene.

When asked if foul play was suspected, Hayden said, “It’s way too early to comment.”

A hotel employee alerted police after finding the dead bodies on the 13th floor.
