St. Paul police ID pedestrian fatally struck by minivan driver
A pedestrian who died after a minivan driver struck him in St. Paul has been identified as a 33-year-old.
Kevin Nguyen, of St. Paul, was walking on Van Dyke Street near Mechanic Avenue on the Greater East Side about 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The driver of a minivan, who turned onto Van Dyke from Mechanic, struck Nguyen. He stayed at the scene and police said Friday he was cooperating with the investigation.
St. Paul fire medics pronounced Nguyen dead before he could be taken to a hospital.
Police said Tuesday the investigation is ongoing.
