Three dead in Dover in likely ‘deadly domestic violence,’ DA
Three people have been found dead in the home in Dover in what the DA says appears to be a “deadly incident of domestic violence.”
An adult male and female and a teen-age girl were all found dead, the DA said.
Here is this morning’s announcement …
Dover Police received a 911 call requesting a response to a residence on Wilson’s Way at approximately 7:24 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, by a family member who had stopped by to check on the family.
Dover Police responded to the home to find an adult male, adult female, and their teenage daughter deceased. Officers secured the scene, and contacted the State Police Detective Unit attached to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office to join the investigation.
Although the investigation is at a very preliminary stage, the evidence available at this time does not indicate the involvement of any outside party, but suggests that this is a deadly incident of domestic violence. It is not believed that there is any ongoing danger to the Dover community related to this incident.
The next of kin notification process is ongoing. Additional information is likely to be available by mid-day on Friday.
Dover Police and Massachusetts State Police officers from the Norfolk District Attorney’s office, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and other specialized units processed the crime scene through much of the night.
Subsequent statement will be made through the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
