BOYS BASKETBALL

Armani Perkins reached 1,000 career points during Holbrook’s 77-37 nonleague win over Excel Academy.

Jayden Welch registered 12 points, six assists and five rebounds, and Ederick Gonzalez had 11 points and 13 rebounds to go along with two assists as Lynn Tech (3-1) edged East Boston 47-46 in overtime. … Raphael Laurent (28 points, five rebounds, five steals, three assists) and Anthony Forte (22 points, five steals, four assists) supplied sparks from both ends of the court for Peabody (4-0) during a 75-49 win over KIPP.  … Behind 24 points from Nick Barnes and 10 rebounds from Noah Basgaard, St. John’s of Shrewsbury (1-1) toppled Algonquin, 67-41.

Connor Finn netted 31 points (27 from beyond the arc), and Dan Oman put up 15 points as Sandwich outlasted Abington, 60-53, in South Shore League play. … Jordan Depino sank a buzzer-beating shot from 25 feet to give Rockland a 50-48 win over Mashpee.

Brendan McDonald dialed up 25 points for Somerset Berkley (2-0) in a 63-56 win over Apponequet in South Coast Conference action. … Nate Reynolds exploded for 34 points and 23 rebounds, and Leo Andrade (20 points) and Michael Dankert (12 points, nine rebounds) helped put the game out of reach as Bourne (2-0) rolled to an 86-53 win over Case. … Lucas Pereira posted 13 points, and Noah Beausoleil tallied 12 points as Seekonk (1-2) downed West Bridgewater, 48-44.

Cedric Rodriguez dominated with 31 points, and Matty Gray (15 points), Ryan Ellis (14 points) and Dom Teguia (11 points) also put in double-digit scoring efforts as Burlington bested Lexington 77-53 in a Middlesex League matchup.

Danny Adams buried the game-winner at the buzzer in overtime, propelling Quincy past Patriot League foe Hanover, 57-56. … Chase Mello (22 points) and Charlie Matthews (21 points) topped the scoresheet, while Killian La Tanzi provided 10 points and 11 rebounds as Hingham defeated Plymouth North, 65-57.

Taryn Leonard scattered 12 points, and Bella Miniutti chipped in with a pair of triples off the bench as Whitman-Hanson (2-1) topped Silver Lake 44-41 in Patriot League action.

Brooke Pulpi (12 points), Charlotte Robichaud (12 points) and Abby Strong (10 points) all scored in double figures as Reading (3-0) beat Melrose 39-23 in Middlesex League play. … Emily Collins (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Katie Kavanaugh (10 points, 10 rebounds) notched double-doubles, and Maeve Collins had 11 rebounds for Winchester in a 47-36 win over Stoneham.
