Patriots still shorthanded at wide receiver in Demario Douglas’ return
FOXBORO — Patriots rookie wide receiver Demario Douglas is back in the lineup after missing two games with a concussion.
The Patriots will still be light at wide receiver, with two players inactive.

Here’s who won’t play Sunday against the Chiefs:
WR Kayshon Boutte (shoulder)
T Trent Brown (ankle/illness/hand)
DE Sam Roberts (healthy)
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle)
RB Rhamondre Stevenson (knee)
CB Shaun Wade (healthy)
Some notes:
With Boutte and Smith-Schuster out, the Patriots will have Douglas, DeVante Parker, Tyquan Thornton and Jalen Reagor available at wide receiver.
Expect veteran Conor McDermott to start at left tackle with Brown out.
Roberts, a 2022 sixth-round pick, has played in just seven games this season.
Running back JaMycal Hasty is set to make his Patriots debut with Stevenson out and Ty Montgomery off of the roster. The Patriots also elevated running back Kevin Harris off of the practice squad to back up Ezekiel Elliott.
Rookie Alex Austin, who impressed in limited snaps last week, will be active over Wade. Expect Austin to back up starters J.C. Jackson, Jonathan Jones and Myles Bryant.
