WRESTLING

Sidney and James Tildsley won their third straight title at the Salem Blue Devil Tournament as Shawsheen rolled to the team title. In addition to Sidney Tildsley (138 pounds) and James Tildsley (144), other winners were Jayden Perez (106), Dante Graziano (113) and Bray Carbone (132).

Yandel Morales became the second Andover wrestler in school history to win 100 matches as the Golden Warriors went 2-1 on the day. They defeated Framingham (43-27) and Noble of Maine (42-40), while falling to Timberlane (52-23).

BOYS BASKETBALL

Sophomore Anthony Alessi netted 17 points and senior Eli Connor added 15 points as Stoughton (1-0) took down Nauset 59-34 in nonleague play. … Dom Paniello-Torres and Jake Bellacini each had 18 points as Bishop Fenwick (1-0) won over Salem Academy 70-59.

BOYS HOCKEY

In nonleague action, Brendan Tourgee scored twice as Canton (1-0) blanked Lincoln-Sudbury 5-0. … Jay Carter had two goals and four assists as Concord-Carlisle (1-0) defeated Gloucester 8-5. … Connor Fryberger found the back of the net twice and Morgan Lenehen chipped in three assists as Catholic Memorial (1-0) won 4-1 over Belmont.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Sami Dimento collected two tallies and an assist while Riley Towse stopped 16 shots as Winthrop defeated nonleague opponent Shawsheen 6-0. … Charlotte Woodford netted two goals and Quinn Bennett had two assists as HPNA (1-0) edged Reading 2-1.

Freshman Bella Freitas had a hat trick and Kasey Litwin added two more as St. Mary’s of Lynn (1-0) won 8-0 over Catholic Central League opponent Bishop Fenwick.
