Woman, 27, killed in early morning shooting in Cambridge, man injured
A 27-year-old female was shot and killed early Thursday morning in Cambridge during a shooting that left another person with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said Cambridge police responded to 10 Magazine St. in Central Square around 12:30 a.m. where they found two people with gunshot injuries near a black Tesla still located in the roadway.
Both individuals were transported to a local hospital, where the unidentified 27-year-old was pronounced dead and a 26-year-old male was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred in the area of the Central Square Church and the Church Corner Apartments.
Police said they are investigating the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact the Cambridge Police Criminal Investigations Unit.
