Luxembourg October 2023: Jeep, MG, Tesla help prop market up 20.3%
Jeep sales are up 2025% year-on-year in October.
New car sales in Luxembourg gain 20.3% year-on-year in October to 4,168 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 18.6% to 42,165. Volkswagen (+37.4%) almost doubles the market growth to reclaim the top spot in the brands ranking with 13.1% share vs. 12% so far this year. Mercedes (+13.4%) loses the #1 position it held last month but the rest of the Top 7 is unchanged on September. Tesla (+1121.4%) posts a surreal gain at #7 with Skoda (+51.8%) and Renault (+47%) also strong. BMW (+24.7%) can’t keep up with the market while Audi (-9.5%) endures the only fall in the Top 9. Jeep (+2025%) skyrockets to #8 with 4.1% share vs. #24 and 1.1% year-to-date. MG (+1900%) and Cupra (+113.9%) also impress below.
