Exotic Car Of The Week – 024

This week in the latest installment of our ‘Exotic Car Of The Week’ series we take a look at the spectacularly futuristic Porsche Taycan. The Taycan delivers incredible performance, sleek design, and technologically advanced innovation that we could never have even dreamed of 10 years ago. The Taycan can be seen as the first real challenger to the Tesla Model S – with much better looks. The Porsche Taycan was first released as a concept car at the Frankfurt motor show in 2015 under the name ‘Mission E’ and most recently under its current name at the 2019 Frankfurt motor show. We expect the Porsche Taycan and its competitors to be the future of luxury and exotic cars in the near future as many companies look to decrease their carbon footprint in the world. Exotic Rentals & Retreats currently has a handful of test vehicles available for short term rental in select locations worldwide.

Design Highlights

Looking for a futuristic vehicle that is loaded with a plethora of technological features? If yes, the Porsche Taycan is the perfect state-of-the-art vehicle for you. From its carefully placed dashboard and digital gauges to a large HD infotainment system and intuitive software UI, the futuristic Taycan is all about digitizing the driving experience for the drivers and passengers alike. You can also enjoy tech-specs like the 4G LTE support, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto Compatibility.

Interior Styling

Although the Porsche Taycan models are destined to be 4-seater cars, the rear space is good enough to accommodate kids or double up as an extra storage area. Witness the splendor of racier trims inside the luxurious Taycan interior which is laden with tons of reconfigurable gauge display and technological features. As far as the cargo space is concerned, you can keep two carry-on suitcases in the front trunk. Fold the rear sears to clear out a large, flat cargo space that can accommodate up to six carry-on suitcases.

Performance and Drivetrain

Are you excited to experience the thrill of driving around in the first fully-electric production Porsche available on the market? The Porsche Taycan offers two fully electric synchronous motors with hairpin winding that are capable of generating between 522 horsepower (Taycan 4s) to an astonishing 750HP in the Taycan Turbo S. Although the range for the Taycan models is currently around 200 miles (320km) on paper – making them fall quite a bit behind the Tesla Model S, the engineers at Porsche have developed incredibly sophisticated power-saving technology called the intelligent range manager – which ensures the Taycan models can save enough power to be able to get to your chosen destination without expending too much energy – allowing you the comfort of knowing you’ll be able to charge the vehicle from 5% to 80% in no more than 25 minutes. System updates will almost certainly be increasing the capacity of the car in time to come.
