Green Line train fatally strikes pedestrian in St. Paul
A pedestrian died after being struck by a light-rail train in St. Paul on Tuesday.
The collision involving a westbound Green Line train near Syndicate Street happened shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to Metro Transit police. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Metro Transit police are investigating.
Buses continued replacing trains between the Green Line stations of Fairview and Western avenues as of 4:30 p.m.
