Police investigate triple-shooting in Brockton commuter rail lot
Three people were shot early Wednesday as people gathered for a car meetup in a commuter rail parking lot outside Boston, and police were searching for two SUVs that sped away from the scene, police said.
Shots rang out shortly after 3 a.m. as more than two dozen people gathered in the parking lot of the MBTA’s Montello Station in Brockton. Two victims, a man and a woman, were dropped off at a hospital, while another man was taken to a hospital by ambulance, police said.
All were in stable condition, police said.
Police said they were looking for a pair of dark-colored SUVs seen leaving the area “moments” after the gunfire. The shooting is being investigated by Brockton Police with help from the MBTA Police, officials said.
