UK nations June 2024: MG ZS tops Scotland

The MG ZS is the best-selling vehicle in Scotland in June.

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in June. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are already included in the June 2024 UK update. This month Northern Ireland is the best performing nation at +18.6% to 4,871 sales. Following are Scotland (+3.7%) at 16,296 units and England (+0.6%) at 151,740. Wales is the only nation in negative at -0.4% to 6,091. Year-to-date, Northern rIreland is also the most dynamic at +10.1% to 27,344 ahead of Scotland at +6.2% to 86,872, England at +6% to 855,880 and Wales at +4.9% to 35,080.

Podium finishers are as below. The Tesla Model Y is #1 in England, the Vauxhall Corsa #1 in Northern Ireland, the MG ZS #1 in Scotland and the Ford Puma #1 in Wales. The Nissan Juke #2 is in England and Scotland, the Kia Sportage #2 in Northern Ireland and Wales and #3 in England and Scotland, the Hyundai Tucson #3 in Northern Ireland and the MG 3 #3 in Wales.

Other great performers include the MG HS #4 in Scotland, Tesla Model 3 #5 in England, BMW 3 Series #5 in Scotland, Peugeot 2008 #5 in Northern Ireland, Volvo XC40 #6 in Wales and #10 in England, Toyota Yaris Cross #7 in Wales and the Toyota Yaris #8 in Northern Ireland.
