2024 Genesis GV70 exceeds luxury expectations

Easily, in Grasso’s Garage, Volvo and their endless brand of rightly priced luxury vehicles has always stood out the most as they satisfy just about every consumer’s wants and needs.

With the XC40 still not delivered to Grasso’s Garage for a test, this leaves a gap in the review pie. While recognizing this, Genesis had the right idea of filling this void, and one that is going to payout nicely. I give you the 2024 Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige AWD. What an amazing SUV wrapped in Capri Blue; one of our favorite deep blue colors for sure. With the overall stature and stance of the already successful Genesis brand, the GV70 gives off the luxury vibe with its excellently proportioned front fascia and sleek body curvatures, similar to the Porsche Macan.

On our week-long tester, we noticed an array of safety features, panoramic sunroof, leather surfaces and that rich red interior everyone who enjoys sportiness demands. Optioned up on our tester were the 21-inch wheels, 12,3” digital instrument cluster, 3-zone climate, carbon fiber trim, Lexicon Premium Audio, and much more. Did I mention The Genesis Experience? 3 Yr / 36K complimentary maintenance included, with Valet, Map Care and complimentary connected services all included for no additional expense.

For 2024, the Genesis GV70 is easily Grasso’s Garage compact luxury SUV of the year, with its elegance, appearance and price dominating the category with flying colors. As Hyundai’s upscale brand, Genesis has had a slow start in the market, because of the hurdles of pricing and delivery, but most recently, they are clean and green in the market and dominating onboarding new consumers from alternative upscale luxury brands like Mercedes and BMW, but with a realistic price point. Similar to our recently tested Cadillac XT4, which was our subcompact Luxury SUV favorite, rightly sized, rightly priced, is what consumers are looking for and these vehicles deserve to be tested and driven; I’m confident you will like them as much as I do.
