Triple stabbing reported in Taunton, Massachusetts man arrested: Police
Three people were reportedly stabbed during an incident in Taunton Tuesday afternoon, according to police who arrested an alleged suspect.
Taunton Police responded to the stabbing involving multiple people on Paul Bunker Drive at around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Upon arrival, officers found a 19-year-old Taunton man and two 21-year-old Taunton men who were suffering from stab and slash wounds. The three victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
Cops at the scene arrested a 24-year-old Taunton man, and charges were pending. The unnamed suspect was also transported to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries from the altercation.
“It is believed that the individuals are all known to each other and that the incident was not random,” Taunton Police said in a statement.
“Police do not believe there is any active threat to the public at this time,” the department added.
