Jordan Q1 2024: Changan E-Star spectacularly takes the lead
The Changan E-Star is the most popular vehicle in Jordan over Q1 2024.
8,634 vehicles were sold in Jordan over Q1. Toyota is the champion in the sales charts but sees its share fall to 31.7% vs. 40% for the previous update we had over Full Year 2022. Kia for its part surges to 28.7% vs. 14.1% but the most spectacular improvement is for Changan going from 1.3% to 15% of the market at #3. Way below are Hyundai (4.5%), Isuzu (3.9%) and Nissan (3.1%). Ram is another great performer at #7.
Model-wise the Changan E-Star EV surges to pole position with 950 sales, distancing the Kia Sorento. The Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup, leader in 2022, is down to #3 ahead of the Toyota Land Cruiser Wagon and Kia Frontier. The Changan Eado EV also makes itself noticed at #7.
