Final salute for Billerica’s Sgt. Taylor
Billerica and Lawrence bid farewell to police Sgt. Ian Taylor Friday. His funeral was in St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence and he was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. The 49-year-old Billerica officer, who once patrolled Lawrence, suffered fatal injuries while working on a road construction site on Boston Road last week.
