ASEAN Secretary-General visits Cambodia

ASEAN Secretary-General Lim Jock Hoi is visiting Cambodia from 15-19 January at the invitation of Cambodia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhonn.
Hoi is set to meet with Prime Minister Hun Sen and Sokhonn, according to the ministry statement on 15 January.
He is expected to have meetings with Defence Minister Tea Banh, Economy and Finance Minister Aun Pornmoniroth, Public Works and Transport Minister Sun Chanthol, Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron, and Commerce Minister Pan Sorasak respectively.
Hoi will also attend the ASEAN tourism ministerial meeting on 19 January in Preah Sihanouk Ville.
Hoi’s visit will seek ways and means to further enhance the cooperation and coordination between the ASEAN Secretariat and Cambodian relevant ministries to ensure good achievements for a stronger and more cohesive “ASEAN family”, said the ministry.
