Throwback Thursday
The Boston Braves had quite the history before they moved to Milwaukee and finally Atlanta. This being baseball, and Boston, fortunes changed, and after a particularly bad 1935 season, the team was sold. The new owner was going for a new look and new image, and thought renaming the team the Boston Bees would do it. It didn’t. In 1941 the team was sold again, and renamed the Braves.
