Luxembourg January 2024: BMW repeats at #1

BMW is the most popular carmaker in Luxembourg for the 2nd month running. 

3,627 new cars hit Luxembourg roads in January, a -2.7% year-on-year drop. BMW (+8.8%) ignores the negative market to lodge a second consecutive monthly win and 3rd #1 ranking in the past 6 months (add last August). It snaps the top spot for just four units above Volkswagen (-14.8%). Mercedes (-12.9%) swaps ranking with Audi (+4.7%) compared to December while Skoda (+10.6%) rounds out the Top 5 as it did over the Full Year 2023. Hyundai (+107.1%), Volvo (+87.8%) and Tesla (+29.8%) score the largest gains in the Top 10 while MG (+2140%) skyrockets to #11, however down 3 spots on December.
