Wild place Pat Maroon on injured reserve, recall Jake Lucchini
The Wild on Monday placed wing Pat Maroon on injured reserve with an upper body injury. He was hurt in the second period of the team’s 3-2 loss to Anaheim on Jan. 27, the Wild’s last game before the all-star break.
Minnesota returned to practice on Monday and will play Wednesday night in Chicago. Puck drop is set for 8:30 p.m.
To take Maroon’s place on the roster, the Wild recalled forward Jake Lucchini under emergency conditions from AHL Iowa. Lucchini has recorded zero points in five games with the big league club this season.
