El pívot de Celtics Nikola Vucevic se opera del anular derecho tras lesionarse el viernes
BOSTON (AP) — El pívot de los Celtics de Boston, Nikola Vucevic, fue operado el sábado para estabilizar la fractura en el dedo anular derecho y será reevaluado después de al menos tres semanas.
Vucevic se lesionó en el primer cuarto del partido del viernes por la noche contra Dallas cuando el ala-pívot de los Mavericks, Khris Middleton, manoteó el balón. Abandonó el encuentro, que Boston ganó 120-100 en el regreso de Jayson Tatum tras una lesión en el tendón de Aquiles, y no volvió.
Los Celtics informaron el sábado que Vucevic será reevaluado en 3-4 semanas.
Vucevic llegó el mes pasado procedente de los Bulls de Chicago en la fecha límite de traspasos, para darle a los Celtics profundidad en la posición de hombre grande. El montenegrino de 35 años promedió 10,4 puntos y 21,7 minutos en 12 partidos con Boston.
