Man allegedly stabbed in Dorchester parking spot dispute

A man allegedly stabbed someone during a dispute over a shoveled parking space in Dorchester early Wednesday morning.

Boston Police responded to Evans Street around 1:25 a.m. to find two victims with hand wounds and blood on the sidewalk and snowbanks, police said.

The 41-year-old male and 47-year-old female victims were transported to local hospitals, while police detained a third man on the scene, Enel Janvier, 47.

According to police, the male victim arrived to Evans St., to see that Janvier had parked in a spot that the victim thought he had cleared himself. A confrontation ensued and escalated, leading Janvier to allegedly stab the unnamed male victim.

The female victim was injured when trying to intervene, police said.

Janvier was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing bodily injury. He was scheduled to be arraigned at Dorchester District Court Wednesday.
