Patriots QB Drake Maye: ‘We’re the (Super Bowl) party’
FOXBORO — The Patriots understand that they’ll have the nation’s attention next Sunday.
Drake Maye was asked about head coach Mike Vrabel’s messaging as a “motivational speaker” on Thursday afternoon, and the Patriots quarterback passed along some of Vrabel’s talking points.

“We talked about at the beginning of the season, talking about our stories and what kind of hopes we had. And our hopes were to win the big game and win the Super Bowl, and look where we’re at now, and kind of those hopes are coming to a reality,” Maye said. “So that’s one of the coolest things I thought I heard this morning from him, of him just relaying that to us and knowing that what we dreamed of, and even as a little kid, back when we wanted to watch the Super Bowl at a Super Bowl party.
“And now, we’re the party. So that’s a pretty cool aspect.”
The Patriots get to party even harder if they beat the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX next Sunday.
